The essence of Etiquette Camp is to help children become confident in themselves and considerate of others. This is all done in a fun and interactive way that helps children remember the lessons they learn with us.
Please note, your enrollment is considered complete when we receive both the payment and the form.
Children's Camp Enrollment Form, July 10-14, 2023 (pdf)
DownloadChildren learn how to introduce themselves, how to make friends, what it means to have positive body language, and how to be polite and kind in conversation.
Not only do we learn how to correctly hold cutlery, set a table, and what certain dishes are used for, but we also focus on foods that are typically difficult to eat well, such as soups, noodles, finger foods, etc.
In a day and age when we yell "hey!" at a machine to give it a command and phones seem to be an extension of ourselves, technology etiquette is more important than ever.
Camp includes daily art lessons where the kids learn how to make a craft as a gift to a host, or how to water-color a thank you card (hand-made gifts are rare and wonderful)!
Each day also includes a cooking class, where the kids help with making an appetizer or dessert that we all taste-test, which the kids always love!
During sports time, we reiterate the importance of being a team player, and winning or losing gracefully.
We practice how to write thank you notes, which are an excellent (and rare!) way to show appreciation to any host.
What do you do when you receive a gift you don't like? Or when you get something you already have? How do you give gifts in a thoughtful, caring way?
We also work on public speaking to build poise and confidence.
First impression matter, and how we dress impacts other's opinion of us. We learn how to dress and carry ourselves professionally.
As children grow into teens and start to get jobs and increase their social circles, learning how to effectively network is essential to put our best foot forward
Knowing how to present oneself and how to behave at an interview will help teens make a great impression as they start on their career journeys.
A $30 administrative fee will be subtracted from all refunds. Remaining amount will be fully refunded if request is made at least fourteen (14) days prior to the start of your assigned camp session. If the request is made less than fourteen days before the start of the session, half of the amount will be credited to a future event.
